LIPA certificates over 13 MOH Compliance Officers.
The Liberia Institute for Public Administration or LIPA certificates over 13 compliance officers from the Ministry of Health following completion of three weeks Financial Manager Course.
The course was designed to build capacity of officers assigned at financial management departments in the counties.
The basic fundamental for the course is to guide participants on how to execute various procedures and functions of financial compliance.
LIPA deputy director general for Training and Manpower Development Amara M. Kamara, lauds the trainees for successfully attending the three weeks course and encourages them to always utilize the knowledge and skills acquired in their daily work.
He describes learning as a key to the future, noting that whatsoever anyone learns is never a waste stressing that LIPA is always ready to provide capacity building support for sustained quality service delivery to all government ministries and institutions through training research and consultancy information services.
The president of the class Charles S. Tiah, thanks the Ministry of Health for affording them the opportunity to acquire new knowledge and skills which he says, adds value to their career, promising that they will justify at their various places of assignment what they were thought at LIPA.
Speaking on behalf of the Ministry, Atty. K. Jiayteh Sayor, Financial Comptroller commends LIPA for the training. He says the Ministry will continue to send more staff for training to help improve their capacity.
