LIBERTY BANCORP DECLARES REGULAR QUARTERLY CASH DIVIDEND

 CHICAGO, Aug. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Liberty Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: LBCI), the holding company for Liberty Federal Savings Bank, today announced that its board of directors declared on July 8, 1993, a regular quarterly cash dividend of 10 cents per share, to be paid on Sept. 3, 1993, to shareholders of record on Aug. 20, 1993. The dividend remains unchanged from the 10 cents declared in January 1993 and April 1993. Annualized, the cash dividend amounts to 40 cents per common share.
 Edward J. Burns, chairman and chief executive officer, commented: "The board's declaration of this regular quarterly cash dividend reflects Liberty Bancorp, Inc.'s financial performance."
 Liberty Federal Savings Bank is a federally chartered stock savings bank. The savings bank is a community-oriented savings bank offering traditional deposit and mortgage loan products. It operates three offices, one in northwestern Chicago, one in Glenview, Ill., and one in Morton Grove, Ill.
