LI business center expands facilities.
TOTUS recently leased seven of its fully furnished executive offices at 105 Maxess Rd., to ACM Business Solutions, a computer network security consulting firm working with Estee Lauder Inc., which has offices nearby.
TOTUS also leased four offices to Delta Funding Corp., the mortgage banking subsidiary of Delta Financial Corp., which is unwinding the bankrupt homelender's business.
"These companies are the perfect tenants for TOTUS Business Centers," said Ted Weiss, president of TOTUS, "They require flexible space without long-term lease obligations which we can provide."
By locating at the TOTUS Business Center in Melville, ACM and Delta join a growing roster of businesses that have found offices in the Long Island market without the expensive commitment that goes with renting traditional office space.
As a result of the surge in occupancy at TOTUS, the company has taken over an additional 5,000 square feet of space in the Class-A office building and has completed four new, windowed connecting offices and a four-person master suite.
Established in 2000 as an affiliate of Melville-based T. Weiss Realty Corp., TOTUS Business Centers LLC provides fully furnished Class-A executive offices and multi-office suites in the bustling Route 110 business corridor to companies that require one or more small offices.
TOTUS offices, which are available on daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis, provide the advantages of a large corporate setting by providing a shared receptionist, fully equipped conference rooms, a corporate-style lobby, administrative support services and sophisticated technology, including T1 high-speed Internet access and multiline phone systems with voice mail. TOTUS also offers virtual identity and business continuity plans. TOTUS is a member of the Alliance Business Center Network.
