 LEVY NAMED PRESIDENT OF TELEX HEARING INSTRUMENTS GROUP
 MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Telex Communications, Inc. has


announced the appointment of Neil A. Levy as president of their Hearing Instruments Group. Levy was most recently vice president and general manager of Doubleday Book Shops and Scribner's Bookstores, a division of Barnes and Noble, Inc.
 Levy comes to Telex with over 20 years of management experience with a variety of retailers and consumer product marketers including Eye Care Centers of America, a division of Sears Roebuck consisting of a chain of 100 superoptical stores, where he was executive vice president. While there, Levy's responsibilities included merchandising, marketing, systems, distribution, human resources and training.
 Levy's background also includes management consulting for Touche Ross & Company where he was a senior manager. He has also lectured and published on a wide range of retail and marketing issues.
 A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., Levy earned his undergraduate degree from Queens College of the City University of New York, and a master's in psychology from the New School for Social Research, New York. When asked about his plans for the Telex Hearing Instruments Group, Levy said, "We have a proud history of providing our customers with superior technology designed, built, sold and supported by outstanding people.
