AMIDST the speculations of what could be the truth behind the murder mystery of 24- year- old Sheena Bora, legal experts find that former STAR India CEO Peter Mukerjea is not in a legal trouble till the investigations suggest his involvement in the conspiracy.

Justice RS Sodhi, retired Delhi High Court judge who had found Manu Sharma guilty in the sensational Jessica Lall case and pronounced life imprisonment for him, told M AIL T ODAY , " Peter Mukerjea has made it clear that he had no clue about whatever is happening at the moment. However, if further investigations reveal that he did not approve of the relationship between his step- daughter Sheena Bora and his son Rahul Mukerjea ( from his first wife) and involved himself in the conspiracy, only then can he come under the legal ambit of

murder. Only investigations will reveal what can go against Peter." Peter Mukerjea had so far maintained he always knew Sheena as Indrani's sister and not her daughter. Sheena Bora is stated to be Indrani's daughter from an earlier marriage with one Siddharth Das.

Another retired Delhi High Court judge said, " If Peter Mukerjea had a role in hiding the body then he will be booked under Section 201 for eliminating the evidence. The reasons of the murder are not relevant to prove the motive.

Also, the confessions of Indrani Mukerjea and Shyam Rai, the driver have no relevance as they are the coaccused.

The concrete evidences will have to be produced that will come forward only during further investigation. But so far to my knowledge nothing has come out against Peter." Investigators are not ruling out the honour killing angle after it came to light that both Peter and Indrani disapproved of the relationship between his son Rahul and the deceased.

Honour killing angle not ruled out yet
