Birmingham construction law specialists Challinors Blizzard - the only practice of its kind in the UK - has celebrated its first birthday with a series of contracts worth a cumulative value in excess of pounds 14 million.

Last summer, chartered surveyors Blizzards - established by Keith Blizzard - joined forces with Birmingham law firm Challinors Lyon Clark, to create Challinors Blizzard.

He added: 'Prior to our partnership, Keith and I had worked alongside each other on many occasions and it became increasingly clear that the obvious step was to join the two companies to both our and our clients' benefit.'

Challinors Blizzard has successfully executed a number of high profile cases, including a series of contracts on behalf of Pritchard Construction, Pritchard Holdings and Chasregen, to the cumulative value of pounds 14 million.

Director Keith Blizzard said: 'Although we are just one year into this partnership, our results are already exceeding expectation.'
