 TO FEED 6,000 PEOPLE IN BALTIMORE AREA
 EVENT: The Leedmark store in Glen Burnie will mark its first
 anniversary this Wednesday, May 20, by donating 100
 "anniversary cakes" that will feed 6,000 people at a
 variety of groups and organizations in the Baltimore
 area.
 In a brief ceremony, 70 sheet cakes will be
 presented to officials of Second Helping, a project
 of the Maryland Food Bank. An additional 30 cakes
 will be donated to other groups and organizations in
 the community, including volunteer fire departments,
 churches, hospitals, and schools.
 DATE/TIME: Wednesday, May 20

 Glen Burnie, Md.
 BACKGROUND: The Leedmark store first opened for business on
 May 22, 1991. Leedmark is the first one-stop
 shopping hybrid market in the U.S. where consumers
 can buy all of their basic needs for apparel, non-
 food and food items in one place.
 Leedmark sells 85,000 different items at every day
 low prices. Leedmark features a concession area
 with various service-oriented facilities, including
 a food court, liquor store, beauty salon,
 electronics repair store, and a bank.
