LEBANON - Nov. 6 - Beirut To Reject Freeze On Hizbollah Assets.

Finance Minister Fuad Saniora tells the Voice of Lebanon radio station that a freeze on Hizbollah assets will be discussed at a cabinet meeting on Nov. 8, but that ministers are expected to reject it. He adds: "Lebanon's stance is that there is a difference between defining terrorism and the groups that seek to liberate their countries". (As part of its anti-terror campaign, Washington last week included Hizbollah on a list of 22 groups that would have financial assets blocked. Beirut said earlier it was co-operating with US requests that followed the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks).
