LEADING COURT REPORTING COMPANY SEES BRISK BUSINESS IN TOUGH TIMES;
 'RECESSION LITTLE EFFECT' FOR HUTCHINGS COURT REPORTERS
 SAN CLEMENTE, Calif., Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- The current U.S. economic recession has had little effect on Hutchings Court Reporters, one of the oldest and largest court reporting companies serving the legal community in Southern California.
 Just the opposite, reports one of the firm's partners, Rendel Hutchings. "Our company is handling enough depositions right now that we have openings for highly experienced independent computer editors we just can't fill."
 For nearly 40 years, Hutchings Court Reporters, a family partnership, has assisted the legal community in the Southern California area with expert reporting of depositions in business litigation, medical malpractice, product liability, wrongful termination, medical and technical cases, and personal injury and workman's compensation cases.
 "Our bumper years were 1988 and 1990," said Hutchings, noting this period was at the beginning of the U.S. economic recession. "The number of lawsuits and filings continues to increase at incremental levels year by year, so our business has steadily increased."
 Hutchings Court Reporters has expanded "slowly and steadily" during the past decades to meet the growing demand for expert legal depositions and is highly regarded in the legal community for its silent professionalism and dedication to providing accurate, timely transcripts. In addition to its headquarters in Los Angeles, Hutchings Court Reporters offices are also located in San Clemente, Riverside, Calif., San Diego and Santa Ana, Calif.
 A family owned and operated company, the partners are pleased with the success the firm is experiencing, but said Hutchings, "We are in an almost invisible industry. The high-profile legal cases feature attorneys and judges. We are almost never seen. Our company has always been and continues to be a silent witness to these proceedings, recording what transpires."
