LDI COMPUTER SUPERSTORE ENJOYING BRISK HOLIDAY SALES
CLEVELAND, Nov. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- As the nation's retailers gear

up with some anxiety for the post-Thanksgiving selling season, sales have been extremely strong since the grand opening of LDI Corporation's (NASDAQ: LDIC) new LDI Computer Superstore two weeks ago.
More than 300 people cued up at 10 a.m. on Nov. 16 for the grand opening of the new 40,000 square-foot store, lured by variety and value. More than 17,000 shoppers came through the doors during the first four days of operation. Opening sales were well above projections.
"Shoppers seem to be buying for themselves, not for others," Michael R. Kennedy, president and chief operating officer said. "Computer hardware and software is being looked at as a necessity and not as a frill, so consumers are willing to buy."
The new LDI Computer Superstore is LDI Corporation's first venture into retailing. The company also provides a full range of new and used data processing, telecommunications and other high technology equipment as well as maintenance, disaster recovery services, technical support and related services. The company's products include mainframe and mid-range central processing equipment and peripheral devices, as well as point-of-sale equipment, telecommunications equipment, computerized medical diagnostic systems, and selected capital equipment, in addition to personal computers. LDI is also an active dealer in the secondary market for used data processing and telecommunications equipment.
The LDI Computer Superstore is among the first of its kind in Northeast Ohio carrying a full line of hardware and software from more than 20 manufacturers. Customer training is also available both on and off site, as well as complete maintenance and repair services.
