 LATTICE SEMICONDUCTOR NAMES KOPEC DIRECTOR OF MARKETING
 HILLSBORO, Ore., Sept. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Lattice Semiconductor Corp. (NASDAQ: LSCC) today announced the appointment of Stan Kopec to the position of director of marketing.
 "Stan brings enormous experience in the rapidly growing Programmable Logic market," said Steve Laub, Lattice's vice president and general manager. "His strong software and hardware marketing experience and solid technical product planning will be instrumental as we further expand in both the low- and high-density PLD marketplaces."
 Kopec has over 18 years of design, product planning and marketing experience in the electronics industry. Most recently, Kopec was the director of strategic marketing for Altera Corp. where he was responsible for new product definition and market introduction of the company's high- and low-density PLDs. He has also held a variety of engineering and engineering management positions at Intel, SEEQ, Silicon Compilers, and Exel Microelectronics. Kopec holds a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois (Urbana) and a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from State University of New York.
 Lattice Semiconductor Corp. is based in Hillsboro. The company designs, develops and markets both high- and low-density, high-speed E2CMOS(R) programmable logic devices (PLDs). PLDs shorten design cycles and reduce development costs by allowing the customer to quickly and efficiently incorporate different logic functions on a single device.
