LASER-PACIFIC MEDIA REPORTS ON U.S. DISTRICT COURT RULING FOR PATENT
 HOLLYWOOD, Calif., June 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Laser-Pacific Media Corp. (NASDAQ: LPAC) has reported that the U.S. District Court, Central District of California, has ruled on a Motion for Summary Judgment that Laser-Pacific's U.S. patent for high resolution transfer of images is invalid.
 The company has filed a motion for reconsideration of the decision. Laser-Pacific also plans to pursue all available avenues of appeal if the motion for reconsideration is denied, according to Chairman Robert E. Seidenglanz.
 "We believe the judgment is incorrect and we plan to appeal," said Seidenglanz.
 The company's customer base includes global media companies, including every major Hollywood studio, independent production companies, domestic and pay cable companies, and more than 200 others. Through its investment in plant and equipment, the firm provides the technical functions of processing, editing and finishing images and sound required for motion pictures and television.
