LARRY FORSDICK NAMED VICE PRESIDENT, PROGRAMMING FOR PARAMOUNT DOMESTIC TELEVISION

 HOLLYWOOD, April 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Larry Forsdick has been named vice president, programming, for Paramount Domestic Television, it was announced by Frank Kelly, president, creative affairs and first- run programming for the division. Forsdick will develop new programming as well as oversee daily production on "Entertainment Tonight."
 In making the announcement, Kelly stated, "We are pleased to have Larry join our team. His strong background in production and at television stations makes him well-prepared to produce and develop programming for the syndication marketplace."
 With lengthy experience in program production and acquisitions, Forsdick was most recently a partner in Hollywood Go-For-Productions, where he produced the CBS late-night series, "A Perfect Score." Previously, he was vice president of worldwide syndication programming for the Ogiens/Kane Co. He served as vice president of special projects for Worldvision Enterprises from 1984-1989.
 Forsdick served from 1982-84 as vice president, programs, for the CBS Television Stations, where he supervised the production of specials for the five owned-and-operated stations. Previously, he held various program management positions with KNXT-TV, Los Angeles and WPIX-TV, New York. He began his career in 1967 as an assistant manager of broadcast operations for WCBS-TV.
 Forsdick holds a master of arts in television and radio from Michigan State University and a bachelor of arts in journalism from the University of Pennsylvania.
