LARGEST BLACKJACK TOURNAMENT IN MINNESOTA HISTORY AT GRAND CASINO MILLE LACS; $50,000 FIRST PRIZE OFFERED!
MILLE LACS INDIAN RESERVATION, Minn., April 8 /PRNewswire/ -- June 7 through 9, 1993, Grand Casino Mille Lacs will host the largest Blackjack tournament in Minnesota history. Called the "$100,000 Grand Bonanza Blackjack Tournament," its prizes are substantially larger than any ever offered in the state, and will feature a $50,000 first prize. Based on a minimum of 300 entries, the total of all cash, prizes and gifts will be $100,000. Participants will pay a $300 entry fee, and the tournament will start with a $500 buy-in at the table. This will be a "live money" tournament, and all players will keep their table winnings. If the number of entrants exceeds 300, prizes will total even larger sums. Every entrant will receive three Grand Meals, a surprise gift and a chance to win valuable prizes, including $100 in Blackjack free play. The top two players at each table in the first two rounds will advance, and the top player at each table in the semi-final round will advance to the finals. Players will be able to re-enter, based on space availability, for only $150. Those who "play their cards right" (literally!) will share in the biggest Blackjack tournament ever held between Las Vegas and Atlantic City. -0- 4/8/93 /CONTACT: Barry ZeVan of Grand Casinos, 612-449-7130/
