LADY LUCK RECEIVES FINAL APPROVAL FROM GULFPORT OFFICIALS

LAS VEGAS, Nov. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Lady Luck Gaming Corporation (NASDAQ-NMS: LUCK) announced today that the Gulfport Board of Zoning Adjustment approved its plan to develop a casino project on property that the Company has leased in Gulfport, Miss. The Gulfport Board of Zoning Adjustment decided that the Company's plan to develop the Southern resort-themed "Lady Luck Gulfport Casino," complied with all the requirements of the Gulfport Zoning Code. The Company's Gulfport development plan now has received all necessary zoning approvals from Gulfport authorities, but is still subject to a judicial appeal filed by property owners in the area. The Company believes that such appeal will not be successful; however, it can provide no assurance in that regard. The Company previously received formal site approval from the Mississippi Gaming Commission regarding its Gulfport project and its application for a Mississippi gaming license at that location is pending. No assurance can be provided that the Company will receive such gaming license. Lady Luck affiliates have previously been licensed by the Mississippi Gaming Commission in Natchez and Tunica, Miss. The Company anticipates Lady Luck Gulfport will open by fall 1994.
Lady Luck Chairman, Andrew Tompkins said, "We are pleased to receive this final approval from the City of Gulfport. We look forward to the development of our project."
Lady Luck Gaming Corporation develops, owns and operates casinos, including casinos in Natchez and Tunica, Miss. and Central City, Colo., and is currently in the process of developing several sites in emerging gaming jurisdictions including Missouri and Mississippi.
