 L. BROOKS PATTERSON TO ADDRESS PRSA MEETING ON JAN. 21
DETROIT, Jan. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- L. Brooks Patterson, former Oakland

County prosecutor, will be the featured speaker at the luncheon meeting of the Detroit Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) on Tuesday, Jan. 21, at the Radisson Plaza Hotel in Southfield.
Patterson will address "The State of Michigan Politics" as well as comment on Dr. Jack Kevorkian, William Kennedy Smith, and David Duke -- all of whom came under intense media scrutiny in 1991. Patterson will openly discuss his views on Duke's participation in the Michigan primary, the Kevorkian assisted-death issue, and the trial of Smith.
Patterson is a senior partner in the law firm of Patterson, Potter, Delis & Carniak, based in Auburn Hills. Presently, he represents governmental units in Oakland County, including defense litigation on behalf of the Oakland County Road Commission and the Oakland County drain commissioner. In January 1991, Patterson was appointed by Gov. John Engler to serve on the Oakland University Board of Control.
Tickets for the luncheon meeting are $18 for PRSA members, $10 for retirees and $20 for non-members. Lunch will be served at noon followed by the program. For reservations, call Nancy Skidmore at 313-545-6499.
