Kyrgyzstan may set up Youth Development Coordination Council.

Kyrgyzstan may set up Youth Development Coordination Council at the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Chief of President's Administration Medet Sadyrkulov said in his address to the First National Youth Conference on November 10.The draft of a new youth policy concept until 2020 was presented during this conference. This document is outcome of the joint efforts of the youth from various sectors of the society and state. Medet Sadyrkulov promised that all recommendations made by the participants of the conference will be taken into cnosideration. In particular, Medet Sadyrkulov said the idea of the Youth Development Coordination Council is interesting. This body may implement youth policy and make managerial decisions related to the youth. "In December we will have the event on youth affairs with participation of the President. This issue will be considered among others and we hope it would be decided in favor of this council," Sadyrkulov said.The participants of the youth national conference suggested that the Youth Development Coordination Council should include deputy ministers of the key ministries, representatives of oblasts, representative of youth organizations and political parties, MPs, officials from President's Administration, businessmen, representatives of donor agencies and Ombudsman's office.
