Kyrgyzstan expected to ratify Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in 2019: PM.

Kyrgyzstan is expected to ratify the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in 2019, said Prime Ministee Muhamedkaliy Abilgaziyev during the expanded meeting of the parliament committee for budget and finances on Nov 12.

Government will fully fulfill its social commitments, payments to needy families will be paid fully and on time.

Government will work on digitalization of the social protection system. Social services for big families, elderly people, people with disabilities and especially children with disabilities will be expanded.

Optimization of the mechanisms of social payments and provision of targeted support to categories of citizens will continue over 2019, he added.
