Kyrgyzstan defeats Tajikistan in ankle bone shooting at World Nomad Games.

The Ordo competitions started on September 9 in Cholpon-Ata as part of the 1st World Nomad Games.

The four teams from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan are competing.

The team of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan-2 team played on the first day of competitions. The team of Kyrgyzstan defeated the team of Tajikistan with the score 128:38.

Kyrgyzstan-1 team will play with Kazakhstan on September 10.

The Ordo competitions are held on September 9-13 in the Rukh Ordo Ethno Complex.

Ordo is a traditional game of ankle bone shooting involving ankle bones of a sheep or goat. It is played throughout Central Asia. Such bones have been used throughout history, and are thought to be the first forms of dice.
