Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan hold border delimitation, demarcation talks.

The joint meeting of governmental delegations of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan for border delimitation and demarcation took place on July 3 in Bishkek, reports the Kyrgyz government's press service.

The delegation of Kyrgyzstan was led by Vice Prime Minister Abdyrakhman Mamataliyev, the delegation of Tajikistan was led by Vice Prime Minister Muradali Alimardon.

The talks have become continuation of the joint meeting of the governmental delegations of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan held on 19 June 2014 in Batken.

The sides reached agreement on construction of the junction of the Kok-Tash-Ak-Sai-Tamdyk-Kishemish and Isfara-Vorukh roads. The sides agreed that construction will start since July 10.

The countries also agreed to hold meeting of working groups for legal affairs in the nearest time to discuss and approve the draft agreement on state border.
