Kuwaitis win four Asian Championship medals.

Amman, Mar. 4 (BNA): Kuwait's junior fencing star Mohammad Al-Fadhli has won the bronze medal in the Asian Junior Fencing Championship in Jordan with the participation of 700 fencers from 38

countries.

Technical director of the Kuwaiti team Abdulkarim Al-Shamlan said that the bronze medal came in the (Sabre) singles competition for junior players, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.

He said that the 16-year-old is a promising player in the fencing world, pointing out that his bronze medal was for U-20 category. He expressed his appreciation for the supportive efforts of the Kuwaiti Public Authority for Sports.

The Kuwait team had won two silver and bronze medals in the Sabre and Epee competitions two days ago, to reach four medals in total in the Asian Championship, which kicked off on 27 February.
