Kuwaiti-Iranian political cmte's meeting in Tehran "positive, fruitful" -- Jarallah.

TEHRAN, Sept 23 (KUNA) -- The meeting of the Kuwaiti-Iranian Joint Political Committee was "positive and fruitful" addressing issues pertaining bilateral relations and topics connected to the regional security, said Undersecretary of the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry Khaled Suleiman Al-Jarrallah here Tuesday.

Speaking to KUNA, Al-Jarallah said that the meeting, which he co-chaired with Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, focused on boosting relations within all possible domains.

The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry official also said that the meeting touched on the situations in Iraq, Syria, and Yemen, stressing the necessity of addressing the security issues in each countries.

Al-Jarallah thanked the Iranian officials for their hospitality and affirmed that Kuwait was looking forward for the committee's future meetings.
