Kuwaiti Army''s Chief of Staff mulls military cooperation with NATO delegation.

| KUWAIT, April 18 (KUNA) -- The Kuwaiti Army's Chief of Staff Sheikh Khaled Jarrah Al-Sabah received here Thursday a senior NATO delegation, currently on an official visit to Kuwait.

The NATO delegation included NATO Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Transformation (DSACT) General Mieczyslaw Bieniek and NATO Deputy Chief of Staff Military Cooperation Major General Sandor Fucsku.

Sheikh Khaled discussed with the NATO officials strengthening bilateral military cooperation as well as several military issues of common concern.

Later, the NATO delegation paid a visit to Mubarak Al-Abdullah Joint Command and Staff College where they were warmly welcomed by Brigadier Abdullah Dashti who also briefed the NATO guests about the educational system and curricula of the college.

For their part, General Bieniek and Major General Fucsku delivered a lecture about the characteristic of NATO activities and work mechanisms. (end) hmd.tb.ibi KUNA 181740 Apr 13NNNN
