Kuwait Min. of Justice in Jordan to discuss closer cooperation.

| AMMAN, Oct 16 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs Jamal Al-Shahab, along with an accompanying delegation, arrived here on Tuesday in an official visit to meet with senior Jordanian officials and discuss ways of boosting judicial cooperative relations between Kuwait and Jordan.

The visit aims at activating the brotherly cooperation relations between the two sides, which are sponsored and supported by the wise leaderships of both countries, Al-Shahab said in a statement to KUNA.

He added that the visit intends to strengthen preexisting commonalities between the two sides and applying them to the fields of justice and judiciary.

On his part, Jordanian Minister of Justice Ghaleb Al-Zubi said that Al-Shahab's visit is a crowning moment for the deep-rooted relations between his country and Kuwait, affirming Jordan's aspirations in enhancing cooperation relations between the two countries, especially in the fields of justice and judiciary and take them into unprecedented levels.

Upon his arrival, the Kuwaiti minister was received by his counterpart Al-Zaabi, along with Kuwait's Ambassador to Jordan, Dr. Hamad Al-Duaij, Hesham Al-Tall, chief of the supreme judicial council and president of the court of cassation, Judge Mohammed Mubaideen, secretary general of Jordan's ministry of justice, Judge Mansour Al-Hadidi, director general of the judicial institute of Jordan, Judge Mustafa Al-Assaf, director of judicial inspection at the ministry of justice, and Judge Ammar Al-Husseini, head of international relations office at the ministry of justice.

Furthermore, Al-Shahab was also received by Mansour Al-Olaimi, consular at the Kuwaiti embassy in Jordan and Faisal Al-Shehri, diplomatic attche at the Kuwaiti embassy. (end) ab.ma KUNA 162328 Oct 12NNNN
