Kuwait Information Ministry keen to keep up with digital age.

| (With photos) TUNIS, Dec 24 (KUNA) -- Assistant Undersecretary of Radio Affairs in the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information Yosif Mustapha said Monday that the ministry is keen to keep up with modern day technologies and improvements to all media in all areas.

Mustapha made his remarks to KUNA, on the sidelines of his participation in the 15th Arab Radio and Television Festival, hosted here in Tunisia.

The Kuwaiti official added that Kuwait's media is being transformed into the digital age, noting that in the near future all Kuwait television and radio stations will be using the digital system.

Based on directions of Minister of Information Sheikh Salman Al-Sabah, Kuwait's media is keen to embrace creative youths and artists, including all those who want represent the state, the official pointed out. (end) nm.mb KUNA 250047 Dec 12NNNN
