The couple owns and directs Dancentre South Studios, Inc. in suburban Atlanta and produces the annual Atlanta Jazz and Tap Dance Festival. 770.516.7229 * Dance students of the UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, IRVINE, CLAIRE TREVOR SCHOOL OF THE ARTS traveled to Paris and performed at the Danses de Mai festival at the Conservatoire de Paris under the direction of David Allan, associate professor of dance. www.uci.edu * THE ASSOCIATION OF INSTITUTE FOR AESTHETIC EDUCATION, INC. received $65,000 from the NEA to train teaching artists--professional artists who work in the schools. The Teaching Artist Mentoring Project is a two-to three-year program modeled on the arts-and-education program of New York's Lincoln Center Institute to develop and launch a series of workshops scheduled for September 2004 to June 2005.
