Ktsowensthomas appointment strengthens its board.
Carol Warburton, 41, from Cardiff, has been made a director of the Cardiff and Aberdare-based firm after joining four years ago.
Mrs Warburton has more than 20 years' professional accountancy experience, 10 of which were spent at a big-four international accounting firm, where she built up considerable global and UK external and internal audit experience. She now heads up the internal and external audit services at Ktsowensthomas working with organisations in the private and public sector across Wales.
With solid practical experience in corporate reporting under international and local requirements, Mrs Warburton also advises across a spectrum of businesses, from listed companies to locally owned corporates, and in that capacity has also provided outsourced finance director services to several significant owner-managed business in South Wales.
A dedicated committee member of The South Wales Society of Chartered Accountants, the local district society of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW)), most recently Mrs Warburton has been invited to become a trustee of Victim Support Wales.

Since merger in 2003, the firm has developed into a leading regional accounting and tax advisory firm and Ms Warburton's appointment increases its board to directors to eight.
