Korea embassy launches website for Pakistanis.
ISLAMABAD, January 21, 2012 (Balochistan Times): The Embassy of the
Republic of Korea, as part of its efforts to better assist ordinary
Pakistanis in general and the business community in particular, launches
its website for Pakistan. The website will hopefully provide an
accessible and convenient forum that will help in strengthening
Pakistan-Korea partnership, says a press release. The website can be
accessed at: www.koreanembassy-pakistan.org The aim of the website is to
improve communication and information sharing, especially to facilitate
e-commerce between Pakistan and Korea. The website contains a unique
database of Korean companies that have indicated that they are
interested in trading with Pakistan. While the database is in its
infancy stages, it is expected that as time goes by this database will
become a comprehensive list of companies with whom Pakistani businessmen
can easily contact and trade. The website also contains links to Korean
trade and investment agencies amongst other useful information. The
website also hosts a data section on trade and commerce. Another section
contains information on the biggest Korean corporations in the world and
the major Korean businesses which have already invested in Pakistan.
Visa and scholarship seekers will find useful information on the
website. Forms and answers to frequently asked questions are provided
for the convenience of applicants, Those that have an interest in Korean
development projects in Pakistan. Will find useful Information on Korean
assistance These include both the grant projects managed by Koreas aid
agency, KOTRA, and official development assistance. From time to time,
