Korea Republic of,United States : DHT HOLDINGS confirms three more VLCCs newbuildings at Hyundai Heavy.

New York Stock Exchange-listed, DHT Holdings has confirmed additional three VLCC newbuildings at Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) at a cost of around $291.9m in total.

According to DHT, the three VLCC newbuildings have been confirmed after signing of a letter of intent (LOI) on 31 January.

Each vessel comes with a cost of $97.3m, including $2.3m in upgrades to the standard specification.

Followed by this, the total number of VLCCs that DHT has on order at HHI amounts to six.

Out of total six newbuildings, delivery of each will be in April, July, two in September, October and November 2016.
