Kobil Systems Joins SecureWave Hardware Vendor Partnership Program.

DURHAM, N.C. -- Kobil's mIDentity Authentication Device Now Certified for Compatibility with SecureWave's Leading Endpoint Security Technology

SecureWave, a worldwide leader in endpoint security, today announced that Kobil Systems, a global leader among IT security technology vendors in the field of Digital Identities and data security for the past twenty years, has now joined its Hardware Vendor Partnership Program with the certification of Kobil's mIDentity USB smartcard Flashdrive. Kobil's focus has always been on security, mobility, flexibility and to offer the customer comprehensive professional expertise. This industry-first certification program for portable storage media provides hardware manufacturers with the endorsement of the market leader in endpoint security and certifies that Kobil's solutions are fully-compatible with SecureWave's Sanctuary(R) Device Control software.

The devices of all partners in the program are subject to extensive and stringent testing for compatibility and interoperability with Sanctuary Device Control. Once certified, SecureWave and Kobil are capable of offering enterprise and government organizations a truly secured, scalable and manageable solution using Sanctuary Device Control to ensure the utmost integrity and security of device use throughout the organization.

Customers will also be able to decide which encryption to use centrally (data, folders, emails on laptops or on the mIDentity key). Customers will be able to control what data is allowed to be copied from laptops onto the secure storage device and hence better apply their security policies.
