Kobert to lead bankruptcy bar.

Roy Kobert was recently elected president of the Central Florida Bankruptcy Law Association.

Kobert, who practices with Broad and Cassel, represents secured creditors, commercial debtors and creditor committees.

The Central Florida Bankruptcy Law Association serves bankruptcy practitioners in Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Brevard and Lake Counties.

Other officers include: Robert Higgins, vice president, Brad Saxton, secretary, and Kenneth "Chip" Herron, treasurer. Those serving on the board of directors are Scott Dulaney, Scott Shuker, Laurie Weatherford, Sam Pennington, Jim Monroe, Margaret Hudson, John Meininger, Rick Webber, and Doug Neway.
