Knuckle; ones to watch.
IT may not have been the most obvious scenario, but it was a chance meeting at a Halloween party with a man dressed in a potato sack that spawned the birth of a Huddersfield garage blues duo.
And it took a drunken reggae party night to decide on their name, Knuckle.
They're now a name hot on the tongues of Huddersfield gig goers, thanks to Ben Wallbanks and Jonny Firth's reputation for their explosive live sets and avantgarde compositions.
Describing themselves as being 'The Black Keys on Crack',' they mesh lightning quick and intricate drumming with emotive blues lyrics and energizing fuzzy guitar riffs.
Not just fast-paced on stage, they are also renowned for their insuppressible creative energy, which saw them write 12 songs in just four hours.
They will launch their first E.P. on September 6 at The Parish.
