Knifeman raids service station.

A man armed with a knife threatened staff at a supermarket service station before getting away with a small amount of cash.

The robber targeted the Tesco service station in Ingleby Barwick at about 11.45pm on Tuesday, February 13.

He stuffed the cash in a white plastic bag before making off on foot towards Blair Avenue.

He is white, with blue-green "heavily bloodshot eyes," short, ginger hair and wore a baseball cap, a blue long-sleeved shirt, jeans and white trainers.
