Knife attack.

A MAN in his 30s was in hospital last night after stumbling into a Merseyside Asda following a knife attack.

At around 7.30pm, officers were called to the supermarket on Woodchurch Road, in Wirral, to discover a man suffering from serious facial injuries following what police believe was a targeted attack.

He was treated on the scene before being taken to Arrowe Park Hospital, where his condition was described as serious but stable. Detectives say the motive remains unclear.
