Klan bully guilty in 2 race kills.

Byline: By RYAN PARRY US Correspondent

RACIST thug James Seale has been convicted over his role in the civil rights slaying of two black teenagers 43 years ago.

The ex-Ku Klux Klan member, 71, was found guilty of kidnapping and conspiracy to kill 19-year-olds Henry Dee and Charles Moore.

Charles's brother Thomas tracked down Seale, prompting a reopening of the case.

Outside court in Jackson, Mississippi, Thomas said: "I'm rejoicing for justice in this country.

"I see them (Henry and Charles) as rejoicing in heaven right now."

It was said ex-policeman Seale trained a gun on the pair while fellow Klansmen battered them, weighed them down with car parts and dumped them alive in the Mississippi river.

Former Klansman Charles Edwards' told the jury Seale had told him he had killed the men.

Seale, who denied the charges, faces up to two life sentences.
