KittyHawk chapter. (Association News: Operator 750).

On January 15, the K-Hawk chapter held a scholarship luncheon at the Country Club of the North, Beavercreek, OH, where contributors to the Scholarship Fund were recognized. Also in attendance were representatives from the University of Dayton and Wright State University. The Crow committee planners were Laura Sample (Ball Aero), Marvin Potts, Verle Johnson and Dave Wilkes (WPAFB Crows)....What a pleasant surprise to hear from Art Monahan out West. Art retired from Raytheon 10 years ago and is now a full-time farmer growing apples and wine grapes at 3695 Mill Road, Paso Robles, CA 93446. He has a son living in Beavercreek, OH, which is lust a 9-iron shot from WPAFB. And lust a few days ago at K-Hawk, we held a luncheon to say farewell to veteran Crow Pete Glavinos. The featured speaker was Wright Field's No. 1 persuader, Paul Westcott. As Paul said, "Keep us in your memory." And Glavinos promised to do just that. When the word got around that Paul was to say a few words about Glavinos' departure, the nearest c hairs filled immediately. No doubt about it: Paul is also Wright Field's No. I speaker.
