Kitchen in doubt.

Bedlington, moving into gear now that their injury crisis is easing, go to Newcastle Benfield Saints tonight for what could be one of the outstanding games of the season in the first division of the Albany Northern League.

But the game (7.30) could come too soon for Terriers defender Sam Kitchen who has an ankle problem.

Whitley Bay are on Northumberland Senior Cup duty at Walker Central tomorrow while Dunston Federation have fitness doubts about striker Ben Thompson and key defender Steve Holmes for the Albany Northern League match at Billingham Synthonia.

Durham City, at home to West Auckland tomorrow, have been given a boost with the news that defender and skipper Justin Keegan has only a badly bruised leg. It was thought that Keegan, carried off last Saturday, had broken a bone.

In-form Chester-le-Street entertain Horden, while second division action has Newcastle Blue Star at home to Northallerton.
