Kitchen's the place for mums' cool Yule.

Mums will spend Christmas Day in the kitchen - and be happy about it!

A lot of them are cheesed off with the shop-till-you-drop run-up to the big day.

These are the startling findings of a survey on mothers and Christmas.

It found nearly 60 per cent would rather spend Christmas Day at home, preferably in the kitchen, than be on a beach in sunny Australia...

Only six per cent said they would prefer a turkey that cooked itself...

A power cut would be a nightmare, but only 11 per cent of the Mums in the survey said it would ruin their day if the TV broke down.
