Stop the wedding ( Charles and Camilla are related! Genealogists at have discovered that the heir to the throne and his wife-to-be are cousins. According to the family history experts who have been researching the couple's family trees, Prince Charles and Camilla are ninth cousins once removed.

Research into the couple's family history by revealed that Prince Charles and Camilla are both descendents of Henry Cavendish, the second Duke of Newcastle. Prince Charles's family history can be traced back to the duke's elder daughter Margaret Cavendish, while Camilla's family tree leads to the duke's younger daughter Catherine Cavendish.
