King wins jet battle.

Byline: CAITLIN MACKAY

RANGERS director and shareholder Dave King has won his battle to stop the taxman snatching a private luxury jet they claim he owns.

Authorities in South Africa claim billionaire entrepreneur King put the Global Express jet up for sale to get assets out of the country without paying tax.

But King, a former Castlemilk milk-boy, won a court fight last week to keep the jet.

He says it is owned by a company he is linked with, not by him.

A South African court threw out the taxman's claims and ordered the authorities to pay for the expensive hearing.
