Kidnap 'eskimo' returned.

IT's snow joke.. a three foot eskimo that sparked a search operation has been returned safe and sound.

The popular figurine, known as 'Pablo' was stolen after thieves broke into the Santa Park in Bundoran, Co Donegal, last weekend.

A heartfelt appeal for Pablo's return was made by Santa Park organiser Michelle Wilmott earlier this week.

Ms Wilmott received an annoymous phone call last night to say the missing eskimo had been left at the church in Kinlough, Co Leitrim.

He was recovered along with a letter of apology from the culprits.

Ms Wilmott said she believes those responsible deeply regret what they did.
