Keyfile Shows First Live Wide Area Workflow -- Connecting Four Sites With "Keyflow," Its Award-Winning Workflow Technology, Seamlessly Integrated With Microsoft Exchange Server; First Microsoft Exchange Server Solution Provider to Link Real-Time Workflow Demo Stations at Four Remote Sites Including AIIM [Chicago], Networld+Interop [Las Vegas] and Company's New Hampshire Headquarters.

NASHUA, N.H.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- March 28, 1996--Keyfile Corporation, in cooperation with Microsoft Corporation and MCI Communications Corp., will demonstrate a new benchmark in workflow functionality at AIIM '96 and Networld+Interop '96. Using its innovative workflow technology, Keyflow, which is tightly integrated with Microsoft Exchange Server, Keyfile will run wide area workflow between four sites across the continent. By demonstrating the distributed network environments found in most global companies, Keyfile continues its mission of bringing comprehensive, low cost document management and workflow solutions to Fortune 500 customers.

Scaleable to meet the needs of companies with several remote offices or a global corporate enterprise, Keyflow features an object oriented desktop metaphor, characterized by intuitive icons that enable users to graphically map out and create workflows with simple drag and drop steps. Keyflow users can create graphical workflows, monitor the progress and even change the process of a "live" workflow within the secure environment provided by Microsoft Exchange Server. Workflow recipients are selected using the standard corporate mail addresses in Microsoft Exchange Server.

As the market increasingly relies on technologies that enable wide area networking and application interoperablity, there is a growing need for a workflow tool that spans the gap between the functionality offered by traditional, proprietary, transaction-oriented imaging systems and current groupware products. Addressing this need head on, Keyfile is the first vendor to demonstrate a wide area workflow network flexible enough to operate over dedicated LANs, high speed WANs, the Internet or dial-up phone lines.

"Microsoft Exchange Server provides the industry with a platform that is open and being rapidly developed by customers around the world," said Keyfile's President, Chris Robert. "It has enabled us to quickly develop and implement cost-effective solutions for our customers on an enterprise level, using standard technologies. No other product on the market today provides us with the powerful infrastructure needed to implement a true wide area workflow solution."

"We are pleased that Keyfile has located two of its wide area workflow demonstration sites in the Microsoft booths at AIIM and Networld+I nterop," said Rob Shurtleff, general manager, Microsoft Exchange Server Connectivity at Microsoft. "Conference attendees will see that the combination of Keyfile's workflow solution and Microsoft Exchange Server provide an excellent blend of technologies needed to implement wide area workflow across the corporate enterprise."

Keyfile demonstrations will take place at the Keyfile Corporation booth #1159 at AIIM, as well as the Microsoft Exchange Server partners booth #2012 at Networld+Interop show.
