Kermit& Co set for Muppets TV revival.

Looks like it's time for The Muppet Show to play the music and ligh the lights again.

ABC America have ordered a pilot of the much loved puppet show.

Kermit, Miss Piggy and the gang are scheduled to film at Disney's California studios next week.

the pilot show is rumoure d to have new characters - including a girlfriend and in-laws for Fozzie Bear.

Big Bang Theory co-creator Bill Prady is writing the pilot with Anger Management's Bob Kushell.

A source said: "The affection for the Muppets has continued long after the show ended.

"Sadly its creator Jim Henson pulled the plug on it when it was riding high which saw it achieve cult status.

"Bosses think there is a need for a wholesome variety show and hope the Muppets could be it."

the Muppets were briey revived on TV 20 years ago but the main show aired to huge success between 1976 and 1981.

Grey's in the black Fifty Shades of Grey has passed the half-billiondollar mark at cinemas worldwide. It has grossed $165.5million in the US and $400million worldwide.
