Kenya : CBA unveils new banking service in partnership with KRA.

The Commercial Bank of Africa (CBA) has announced the launch of new banking service in collaboration with the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) to allow the public to pay taxes via the lender.

By paying your Customs taxes, Domestic taxes and Kentrade payments through CBA, you enjoy Real time update of your tax entries with KRA, said John Okulo, General Manager, Corporate and Transactional Banking, CBA Kenya.

The taxes can be paid by the taxpayers via any of the banks branches nationwide or through its internet banking platform.

The service targets corporate and entrepreneurs but CBA makes out the vast and developing potential among individual clients in the import business.

Lydia Ngetu, Assistant Manager, Finance Division KRA said, We are glad to have CBA integrate their systems with ours to allow this convenient and efficient way to make payments.

KRA is always looking for tie-ups to make tax payment and collection convenient and efficient.

The taxman directs to boost compliance in the payment of taxes with this cooperation.
