Kenneth Guidry named president of PKF Texas.

PKF Texas recently announced the election of Kenneth Guidry, CPA, as president of PKF Texas. Guidry has been with the firm since 1982 as a director, and has served on the firm's Management Committee, as well as the positions of Audit Practice leader and chief operating officer.

Guidry succeeds Warren Cole, CPA, who served as president since 1998. Cole will remain with the firm and continue as the Practice Leader for the Litigation Services Practice.

Guidry has been a visible supporter of University of Houston projects including the University of Houston--CEO Organization and serves on the University's Bauer College Accounting Advisory Board. He is a recognized industry leader who has been quoted in the Practical Accountant, the CPA Public Accounting Marketing Report, and other trade journals. Kenneth Guidry also recently won the Leading Edge Alliance's Innovative Firm Leader award for his outstanding vision and the direction he played in his organization's success.

A native of Texas, Kenneth Guidry is a certified public accountant. He graduated from the University of Houston and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting.

In other personnel news, Karen Love was admitted to the ownership group. Love has served as the firm's director of Practice Growth since joining PKF Texas in February 2000. And just recently, Annabella Green was named firm administrator.
