Kenko Do Brazil adds diaper product line.

Kenko Do Brazil, Aruja, Sao Paulo, Brazil, recently made the move to improve its share of the domestic disposable diaper market with a second brand name product. The new line, "Tippy," was distributed initially in the Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro regions and had a scheduled national rollout for the beginning of December. The new Tippy products follow Kenko do Brazil's "Turma da Monica" product line.

Investment in the new line, which included new equipment from Japan, research and development and a facility expansion, totaled U.S. $13 million. Tippy diapers will be available at a price 10% lower than current products.
