Kendall in new role at Faun Trackway.

A MILITARY manufacturer on Anglesey appointed a new director.

Chris Kendall has been appointed director of Faun Trackway in Llangefni.

The former business development manager replaces John Alun Jones.

Mr Kendall has been with the company for five years, having been a member of the Royal Air Force.

Mr Alun Jones was chief financial officer at parent company Faun Zoeller (UK).

He has also left that role, having started at Faun in 2003.

He saw the company through expansion in the US, its UK merger with Zoeller Waste Systems, and its acquisition of Otto Lifts.

Simon Hyde stays in place as chief executive of Faun Zoeller (UK), which makes refuse collection vehicles, sweepers and bin lift systems.

Faun Zoeller said it had enjoyed its busiest two months of trading, with a series of major new orders for its vehicles and lift systems from councils and private contractors.

In January, we reported how the group secured an pounds 800,000 order from the Australian armed forces to supply it with temporary runways.
