Kempinski Soma Bay hires Russel Storey as new GM.
Kempinski Hotel Soma Bay has appointed Russel Storey as the new general manager of the luxury hotel.
Storey's most recent post was general manager at Jordan Valley Marriott Resort & Spa in the Dead Sea - Jordan; and his earlier post was general manager at Tudor Park Country Club Marriott in England - United Kingdom.
A British national and a hospitality veteran, he comes to the Soma Bay with a long career and broad spectrum of hospitality experience spanning over two decades with different international chains.
He started his career with Regent Palace and Sheraton Park, moving on to Westville, Hilton and Marriott hotels.
Storey said in a statement: "I am totally lucky to enjoy the perfect weather and the year-round sunshine.
