Kelly's I: Net news.

Byline: Matt Kelly

BOO.COM may have been an unmitigated disaster but oddly the book Boo Hoo is proving a surprising success.

So much so that Working Title, the film company that produced Notting Hill and Four Weddings..., has bought the film rights.

So brace yourself for Working Title favourite Hugh Grant playing prat Ernst Malmsten (wonder how he'll cope with the dead-pan Swedish accent?) and an American actress (our money's on Uma Thurman) playing bland Kajsa Leander.

Set in trendy Carnaby Street in a hazy dotcom bubble, it's either going to be the kiss of death for Working Title or a bizarre documentary about naive failure.
