Keeping busy on films fits Bill for star.

Byline: MIRROR REPORTER

BILL Murray has told how he hopes his acting work can help compensate for his personal failings.

The Ghostbusters star openly admits he has flaws but added at least he is proud of his work.

He said: "I know what a failure I am in so many ways as a human, I don't pretend to be some saviour of the world, but the ideas I might communicate [through film] might say something.'' The 65-year-old added he likes himself more when he's busy with a movie.

He told Radar magazine: "I'm a much better person when I'm working on a film because I'm really committed to myself.

"Not in a vain, prideful way but actually being myself because I feel film is a graphic representation of my state, whatever my state is, what I am as a person.''
